I just came off another forum where one poster was in a job they had been volunteering at for 2 years and had been offered a permanent position in a job the OP loves doing.

This person had been working toward a goal...pursued it relentlessly...and reaped the rewards.

I love to hear such stories.

I know all of you have something that could be said along these lines.  If not in actualized dreams...then the, as of yet, unfulfilled dreams, and your actual plan of action to achieve them.

By allowing others to see your process, it gives hope and solid evidence for achieving their dreams.

There you go...you have THE most important components of success...a dream and drive.

Remember your dreams...keep them close to your heart...and never give up.

I think you need a dream to keep yourself going.  But I think "I" needed a higher power guiding me through the process to make it possible.

That is good.  Just remember that your goals in school must be tied to your goals in life.  You get paid for what you can do in life...University is a way of getting qualified to compete for a position later on.  So long as your academia is goal oriented...your dream to fulfill is realistic...the market you are about to enter able to absorb graduates in sufficient numbers to make a viable option of it...a long term career possible...then it is good.

You must plan long term in all areas.  Good luck to you...going for your Master's takes dedication...you are to be applauded just for that...and so I applaud you.
