I have always pronounced and will always pronounce as sper sherger syndrome.  But the americans constantly make it sound like assburgers syndrome Grin  how about yourselfs

Assburgers is a stupid word, I don't know which way the guy who coined it's name is pronounced, but I say it with a j sound and have no intention of saying arse burger.

Han Asperger was Austrian, and a German speaker. German (despite it's anglicised name) doesn't have a soft g (a j sound), only a hard G. So Aspergers Syndrome should be said that way.

Absolutely, although the the alternative pronounciation is the more common, especially in Europe.
