In movies, the bad guys tend to have to coolest outfits (Darth Wader, The Kurgan and so on), but has anyone else ever noticed that the biggest assholes of politics in real life almost always wear nicer uniforms than the good guys? Compare the outfits worn by Soviet or Nazi politicians with the generic suits worn by democraticaly elected leaders and you'll see what I mean. Anyway, if I had to choose a badass dictator outfit, I'd choose something similar to the uniforms worn by the shah and the high-ranking military officers in pre-revolution Iran.

I'm no fan of dictatorships--and I'm aware of the fact that the uniforms are cool for the wrong reasons, but you can't really argue with me on the fact that powerful jerks tend to have a nice taste in uniforms. What's your "favourite" dictator uniform? Smiley

They know one thing...and they do it over and over...because it works.  We you can't be good...you must, at least, look good.  Most people, apparently, judge by emotions...and not reason.
