Aspergers traits in the general population

Its funny how aspergers is getting diagnosed at a huge rate these days and in both sexes not just men.  But I have or seen alot of people out there with traits of aspergers they could not get a full diagnosis for aspergers or even pdd but they diffenetly shows signs of some one who had the potential for developing aspergers syndrome especially people who are hyper focussed or social awkward people

yes, I agree MM. I think there are many people who have aspie traits. I don't think all of them have it, but I don't think I can tell by just looking at a person.

I am full of bull crap I cannot always tell neither I had a friend that was borderline aspergers could not tell.  I could tell he had learning difficulties but full blown aspergers my dad who is a psychologist can usually tell these things though.  He usually points out to me people with asperger like traits.  it means they have some of the symptoms of aspergers syndrome but they dont have enough to get a full diagnosis.
