Okay, I'll bite.  I really think that Tool's Vicarious is a good song; it exposes a sin that many of us are guilty of - getting amusement from watching others die while you're safely watching from a distance.  I myself have been guilty of this, and terribly blame myself for such a heinous act.  The song shifts from 5/4 to 6/8 at times, and hints at a possible polymeter of 3 over 5 (it doesn't do it though).

For out and out fun, I recommend Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - awesome song.

In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel.  Yeah, it's sappy, but it is a beautiful song.

Time by Alan Parsons Project - another sappy song, but I'm sorry folks, it is just beautiful.

For those that are tough-skinned and adventurous:  Larks Tongue in Aspic part 4 followed by Coda by King Crimson.  It is extremely complex (I still haven't quite figured out the polymeters used but I do know that 11/8 over something occurs, and the themes are intertwined from other songs on the album), and builds up until a highly dramatic "coda" where Adrian Belew sings of terrible, horrible things that humanity has done, followed by the lyric, "One giant leap for mankind"...I almost bawl my eyes out and am blown away everytime I hear it from its veracity.

Yesterday was Chesney Hawkes's 40th birthday. I listened to a few tracks from his Greatest Hits album. Today is Natalie Horler's birthday. She's also known as Cascada, and she's 30 today. Happy birthday!
