aw darn, I visited NZ for the first time last october. If I had known about this forum id've paid you a visit.
spent 4 months on a working holiday visa looking for jobs there... but since I went there just after the economy drop I had no luck

Auckland .. I loved the variety of food but the place is.. dunno, too foreign to be kiwi and looked a lot like my hometown

Wellington was awesome. Wind? THE BEST part! . Great view, awesome people, small city and easy access to south island.
Spent a few days in Queenstown and loved it. place is a tourist trap but the scenery far more than makes up for it. MILFORD SOUNDS and the Lord of the Rings film areas around there were incredible.
Dunedin.. meh. Looked like ireland to me. small town, big university, nothing to do but drink. not very clean place compared to the other cities (which I found amazing seeing you kiwis are eco-freaks)

I loved it so much I know for a fact im going to go back and get residence. For that though I need my degree (cant get into the place as an immigrant unless you have a bachelor's degree). So that was my motivation to get back in school and get my degree done.
Double major: Anthropology (focus on Archeology) and History. Hope there's jobs there for that
