Emotional frustration?

We all know the phenomenom of the AFC--a 20-something, "average" yet sexually frustrated dude; I've been there before, but I've reached the point where getting laid is no big deal. But does anyone who are in the same situation still feel "empty" because they have problems with serious relationships?

I've had one serious relationship with a girl I never really loved, a couple of meaningless short term relationships, a couple of one night stands and a short, yet intense relationship with a girl I loved (but who just used me for sex). At the age of 18, I thought I'd die a happy man if I just lost my virginity, but losing it was really not as big of a milestone as everyone says it is.

Does anyone else hate the feeling of being unloved?

(Sorry for the rant, but I can't think of anywhere else to vent.)

I believe that intermacy and sex are not one in the same developing emotional with a person I think is something that goes far beyond just having a screw all the time.  Sex is something very important but I think people over emphasise on it and forget the spiritual bond and the emotional bond to a person that also needs to be developed with if the relationship is too go the distance.  I am not looking personally for just someone to have sex with I also what to have a friendship with that person.  So I hoping that my higher power will provide for me this friendship and compatable person i can develope this long term relationship with.  Sex is easy to get especially if youre a good looking person and I have had plenty of young women chasing me in my time but I am really keen now on a long term relationship.  I am nearly thirty anyway.  Just my two cents on the whole thing
