I can compleatly understand you, I used to get so depressed myself, I try to fight the the depressive feelings about it, and I certintaly don't like hearing the "you'll find some one specal" remarks I know there just trying to cheer me up and I do appreciate that but I just don't like hearing it I myself keep trying though I guess all you can ask is that someone trys but even if I don't find some one atleast I tried. I myself woulden't mind a GF who is also an aspie because there would be a mutual understanding in an aspie/aspie relationship but I guess the best thing you can do is to try and find yourself something to keep you busy like voulenteer work for example. I myself am focused on just trying to keep bettering myself for the sake of myself, you ever hear of a book called "how to win friends and influence people?" you should check that out it's a great book.

It does get frustraiting especially when your on facebook and see that all of your friends are married or are about to get married but if i was to get into a relationship when the time is not right it could prove disasterious:S. My life is getting to the point where it is getting ready. I am almost finished my trade hip hooray  . But it will happen when its ment to happen I guess I have had alot too overcome through out my twenties and a relationship would have disasterous or I would have ended up with a no too good a quality girl friend especially the crowds I was hanging around in :S |

Same here one of the things that frustrates me the most is NTs saying things like "just go get laid" or "just go get yourself a girl friend"...yea if it were that easiy don't you think I'd already have one? Or at least have gone out and gotten laid? |

It is easy for aspies(both male but especially female) that are pleasing to the eye(Good looking aspie males and females) and know a few flirting techniques and have confidence to get laid with someone at a night club or something( I know I came very close but stuffed up the situation or had no condoms  ) However Though I do not want this anymore I want a long term relationship. Thankfully the female to male ratio for aspies is starting to become more equal as we discover. Long term relationships relationships however are alot of work and it may be a while till you/I into one. I trust my god that he will provide me a partner when the time is right. As a recovered alcoholic I am now in a 12 step fellowship and there are plenty of women around in the fellowship, the area I live though there are no younger women that are avaliable and that are suitable. Establishing a long term relationship is much more complicated then just getting laid or using hookers or escorts to filll that loneliness. You need to compatable need to have an income and need to be proactive at getting your s*** together as well. Its possible for aspies but alot of work. But My philosphy is whats impossible for man is possible for god  |

Actually there is an aspie meetup group about 35 mints from whare I live that meets once a month I thought of going to that, any body got any advice for a pickup on an aspie as the stuff I'v been reading is just in general which for the most part would be NTS I do know that the proverbial "ball busting" is a good way to get an NTs attention
