That site looks good.

But the floral girlie patterns may be waking up my inner feminine side. Shocked

That's a very good question.

I guess only time will tell. Undecided

Doesn't make you any less of a man.

No I dont think so. Flowers are not a sign of being less manly, many gardners are men and they love flowers! Male hippies in the sixties wore flowers on their heads. Can't think of any more examples.

Yeah I thought of that recently. Maybe the theme is too girly.. I mean this forum is for guys as well but I don't want them to be embarassed to post here because of the theme.  It aqlmost misleads people into thinking that this forum is for females, when it's actually for everyone.

I want the theme to match my homepage and i've put too much work into it to change it now. Open to suggestions of Modifying the theme though.

Good topic.  Smiley

Yep I know, but your thread really made me think about the actual issue.. Maybe some guys are put of from registering because of the name or theme. I might try a few other themes and see what people think.

Errr... considered by whom?
I'm not sure I'd want to talk with someone who would consider his machismo sullied by a floral arrangement.

That said...  I'm male and I wouldn't describe your layout as girly... but it does show a woman's touch.

(I was about to add a big grin... but these smileys look demented. )

I actually think you should keep it with a girlie theme. In order for this site to take off you need to make it different to WP otherwise there will not be any reason to come here.

My advice is keep the women theme to it and welcome all. Females are a bit outnumbered on WP so your site could have appeal in that regard

I do not think you need concern yourself Mr Bogan, everyone knows bogans cannot be less than manly.

Besides which, broad sweeping stereotypes are so sweeping and broad.

I like the design also.

In the words of Barry Norman... 'Why not.'

(Actually, the words of Rory Bremner impersonating Barry Norman if truth be told - lol)
