A big problem I always had was in knowing if a woman was interested, or even liked me.
If they didn't come right out and tell me to my face, I had no idea how they felt, and usually assumed that they didn't like me.

I think this is a general problem for everyone with Aspergers Syndrome, men and women alike. I suspect it might be a little tougher on men because of these things work (Something Aspergersgirl touched on with her excellent Youtube Channel). As she says there, it tends to be expected that the guy will make the first move. I don't think anyone is really qualified (NT or AS) to give any particularly useful advice on getting around, because it is such an individual thing, and people need to learn to deal with it in a way that suits them and their personality.

Wish I had one, but I just broke out of my previous relationship, so I'm not desperate either. Wish I had more close friends, though...

I have had my chances but I have turned them down.  I think I am better off getting my s*** together before looking into a serious relationship.  Seen alot of divorces in my family.  Being single and celebrate can sometimes be a good thing LOL

No they're more trouble than they're worth.

But you are an attractive Kiwi with a unique voice and soulful eyes, surely you must need to use a cricket bat to keep the men away?

I am sure they would not mind being asked to give you some space, as most guys wish they had that anyway. It is less stressful in a relationship if the girl (the guy almost never does this) is not calling him everyday to do something with her.

I would love to date you, lol. You seem reasonably confident for someone with our condition. We would see each other once or twice a week and never get tired of each other for that reason, lol. Not to mention that we would both be great listeners and be genuinely interested in what the other is saying.

Too bad NZ is about a billion miles away fro NJ, lol.  Cheesy

Physically, yes, but not intercourse or anything. I don't even like to touch most people so I don't know why I suddenly want to hug this one girl. Hormones are acting up, though, but theoretically I do not want a girlfriend or a boyfriend.  Huh?
