Except that he is depicted as outgoing, extraverted, womanizing, enjoys going out and drinking and partying with people etc ....

He's portrayed as naive, child-like and with terrible social skills--but with an exceptional talent in music. There are people with Asperger's who enjoy socializing as much as "NTs" do; the only thing all aspies have in common in this aspect is the lack of social intuition.

Aspergers means primarily a lack of social awareness/ability.

Outgoing 'aspies' are likely not 'aspies' at all  Wink

I sound like a tof because I had professional help with my speech when I was about 8. That was great cos I lived in a council flat area and I got called a snob after that.

I sound like I eat a carton of Luckies a week and wash it down with a fifth of Johnny Walker when i laugh. WHich is strange, because my voice is medium, and I don't smoke.  Huh?

mine's kinda squeaky and childish. neutral accent from the northeastern u.s.

btw, AspergersGirl, I think New Zealand accents are cool too Smiley

Awful. I have a very thick accent from the area I grew up in in NZ and I don't like it at all tbh.

I'm trying to work on my speech to ake it sound nicer. My voice is loud (very) and not very feminine. I need to learn to speak quieter.

Judging from your videos, you could probably sing quite well. Smiley
