I'm not, I despise myself as well as my countrymen, because they always seem to pseudo-imitate foreign cultures when they ultimately fail, the reason must be that they didn't actually reach f.ex Greece until the late 70's or early 80's, they didn't get far with boats either, f.ex the Brits traveled long before that, so they should know more of foreign cultures than us, my countrymen also doesn't mind to breed with Arabs or Nigerians, Scandinavians are filthy anyway, most of them didn't wash themselves more than once a week for centuries, also, f*cking your cousin without hygiene or protection resulted in syphilis, gonore, HIV etc.

I don't understand why people like that are liked across the world, at least they had some sense of honor during the Golden Age, which was around 700-1348.

I hope they die.

I still regard Swedes worse though, I would rather be Norwegian than Swedish - Sweden is full of cowardly backwards people, just like the nation itself, not only did Sweden take Norway once, but it also betrayed it to Germany, at least the Danes didn't do THAT, Danes are more fond of Norwegians than Swedes anyway, countless wars have waged between Denmark and Sweden.

To be honest I can't really understand  where you find all these negtive feelings about people because of where they are from. I've travelled a lot, its something I really enjoy and I have been pretty much all over the world. Apart from some minor culteral differences it seems to me that people are pretty much the same where ever you go. They want the same things and have similar worries.

All countries have blemishes on their history and things that they would rather have forgotten, but equally they all have things to be proud of. I think you have to accept the good and the bad as just being part of the human condition and move on.

I like my culture pretty good though I'd probably be happier in the midwest or south. I don't believe in multiculturalism, but I am willing to accept aspects of other cultures based on their merit.

I can think of a few ways you could have come to that conclusion. Care to explain more about what you mean.

I'm British ... Scottish to be precise ... and I am not proud of my culture at all.  But I do LOVE the English language.  Most Scots cannot speak English properly because they regard it as a foreign language.  But to me the English language is truly sublime; the whole world should learn to speak English.

I'm from the NorthWest of England originally. I love Scotland. My Grandad was Scottish, I have spent many happy weeks roaming round Scotland camping, it has some of the most beautiful landscape in the world, the only place that I have seen that comes close is New Zealand. I like the Scottish, they always strike me as being quite upbeat in general Smiley

Oh yeah some Scottish people are a good laugh.  But not to the extent as, say, people living in London.  c***neys are literally laugh a minute, don't give a toss.  Every time I'm in London I can't help but smile.

I just can't bring myself to use words like 'aye' because for some reason (autism?) I don't feel connected to 'my' culture.  I feel connected to the English in many ways, largely because of linguistics.
