Well, for my 37th birthday, I purchased new bedding and sheets, and a set of 20 watt speakers for my ipod touch.  Now I can sleep in comfort and listen to classical or jazz at night; er...thank goodness to my meds too - otherwise, I would not sleep.  My brain doesn't seem to have a sleep switch built in.  If you look up "chronic insomniac", my picture will most likely be in the dictionary.

Upon going to a Barnes and Noble on vacation in North Carolina (I live in Florida), I found and purchased - Euclid's Elements.  I'm not ready for that book yet, but as soon as I know how to do proofs in mathematics, I'll be ready to learn what I can from that 1200+ page book.  Yikes...what an overwhelming array of material!  But this book was unchallenged until the 19th century, and used as a textbook until that time.

Admittedly, a PC game; Blood Bowl. Unfortunately never had the chance to try out the real board game (sounds like a blast to play with friends while stocked up on beer), but this will have to suffice. It's like American football, with Elves, Orcs and more, and fair play only exists until someone opens their wallet or tell their brutes to visit the referee... :p

LOL ... I play Blood Bowl, it's awesome!  Grin

Years ago as a young teenager I got the board game, and I collected in total about 11 races, and I used to paint each miniature painstakingly.  (They are stored away in a box in my room at my parents' house to this day).  Unfortunately I never had many friends so I didn't play it much.  Sad  That's why the PC version is a godsend.

There is a new edition of BB coming out this year (Legendary Edition) with more races, stadiums and other updates ... I can't wait.   Heart
