What is your relationship status?

I'm experiencing the long-term effects of SSRI use.  It's more difficult for me to present myself in suitable fashion for a partner (some kind of dysfunction).  Happily, Yohimbe can temporarily set this to rights, although it is a stimulant and quite bad for the heart.

Single and unattached as usual. I'm not looking for a relationship right now either because I'd just screw it up being in the state i'm in at the moment.

I am single, and have never had a relationship other than a couple of friends.  That's right - you have read correctly; I at the old age of 37 have never had a girlfriend before, and I assure you that I have no interest of that kind in men.  I have had many crushes on women in the past though.  Why? Let's start with the lowest possible self esteem that can exist without being suicidal, not picking up on body language or verbal cues, being on working disability (a guaranteed turn off for most women), even though I work hard at my part time job, a limited personality, oh - and an interest in mathematics and music; I'm also short (5'5" tall or 1.65 m), and bald.  Shall I keep going? 

Now if women could actually look past all of that, they would see a kind, loving, devoted, honest gentleman who curses (sorry...) that is very sensitive and compassionate for others, a little bit smarter than the average bear, a cartoonish sense of humor (avoiding the piano that is being dropped from a 16 story building - "Hey, what a waste of a piano - drop a 16 ton weight the next time, okay?!!", I scream to the movers), and is polite.  But they don't.  I'm not putting women down; just stating a fact:  Most American women look only for money, and tall dark, and handsome.  They ignore the short, bald ones.

I've been married to an AS friendly NT woman for 19 years.     I am a lucky SOB that I found somebody compatible with me.  I now realize that I am an "acquired taste".  And lament the fact that I wasted so much energy on brief, bad relationships before I met my wife.  Oh well, live and learn.

I recently met a very nice young man, whom I've been talking to for over a month. We started dating about two weeks ago, and are officially a couple.
He came to visit me on campus and treated me like such a lady.
We seem to hit it off. We both have similar life experience, aspects of our personality, and we are both goal oriented.
Most importantly, he UNDERSTANDS me, which is awesome. My friends tell me I have been 'glowing' lately, i guess as a result of this.

I'm quite happy about it, and it has brightened my mood tremendously.
