Has Anyone Played "The Void"?

I need someone who's played this extremely frustrating game! I've got a few questions ^^

For those of you who haven't heard of it... It's quite a unique game, where you use colour to paint certain glyphs onto the screen, which unleash special abilities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Void_(video_game)

Ive played it, didnt finish though. Its really nice, I think Ill try it again some time - without the cheat.

What makes the game difficult to me is the shortage of color.
