None at the moment. All I use these days are emulators on my PC.

I've owned an Atari, NES, Super Nintendo, Playstation and a Nintendo 64. I have hardly played video-games on consoles since I turned sixteen or so. Since I was sixteen, I've just played games via emulators from time-to-time.

I don't have any. The only game I play is Farm Town on Facebook.

Sorry about me posting all the time. I just think this website is Awesome.

LOL

Ditto I'm the same with that paranoia. Out here and to a lesser extent here. It was not helpful when a lady at Wrong Planet said she used to go to the Meet Ups and the men their either irritated her OR aroused her self pity if she met me it would likely be both!

Any ways I cut and pasted her thoughts on a "lack confidence" thread and she apologised!

Yeah I like the site to , well done Fiona.

My Computer has a Abit Multi Processor support A-N78HD Mother Board, an  AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 4400+ 2.3 Ghz cpu, true HD 7.1 DTS surround sound realtek Audio card,

Nvidia 1gb 9500GT 650 Mhz overclocker graphics card that can be overclocked  to 1.8 Ghz O.O , has at least 3gb of ddr2 ram. Now this computer probably sounds lame but this

computer can play games that run on 3Ghz dual core cpus and yet the game runs almost flawlessly on my computer I do not understand how it can run so well when it isn't even

supposed to even be able to run these games in the first place O.o So weird but true. I'm running windows xp with service pack 3. Well enough geekery from me for now as it is

nearly 6am where I am typing this. Not sleeping to good but not unusual for me see you all later.

I collect retro consoles and computers totalling around 90 systems at the moment.
The oldest thing I have is probably the Fairchild Channel F (pre-Atari 2600), while the most recent is a PS3.
The only thing I've no intention of getting is the Xbox 360... though I may reconsider if the new slim model proves to be more reliable.

What was wrong with the original?

I've pretty much owned every console ever released, but for the sake of family harmony (and storage space), most have long since been ebayed.

There are some consloles/computers I just couldn’t let go though, alongside my PS3, Xbox, PS2 and Wii, I still own a Sega MegaDrive  (Genesis), NES, SNES, Amiga CDTV, Amiga 32, Amiga 500 and best of all, a Commodore 64.

I agree with MyGhost, the original three or four released of the XBox where really badly built. The cooling just wasn't sufficient, leading to the dreaded red ring of death ( I went through three myself). The new slim release (code named Jasper), has apparently solved the cooling issue by combining the CPU and GPU into one unit, so cooling is more efficient.
