The more research that takes place, the more we will understand about ourselves and ASD and for that reason alone, I'm all for it. I'm wouldn't personally want to change anything about myself and I imagine that most other folks on the spectrum who are similar to me would feel the same.

This is pretty much where I stand.

If I am autistic in any way, I dont need a cure, I consider this as a gift.

If ever so happens that a cure and/or prophylaxis would develop that supposedly annihilates the propensity of autism, I would be apethetic to such a prominent idea in the case of others that would receive it; however, I durst proclaim that I do not need nor want such a cure; I will not conform to society's needs or wants if such desires force a diresome transformation.

In English, doc...please...

Okay, I don't care if anyone else wants a cure, but I don't want or need one.

Moral:  Liturgy can be beautiful, but also wordy.  LOL
