Your reply has the ring of the truth, but I feel like I need to live another 150 years to be able to suss these things out.
It's just like the song said: "If she knew how bad I want to make this work.." hope we can avoid the misunderstandings next time.
I'm back!
After splitting up for a long time, during which she went back to Pakistan for a holiday, I texted her and we got back together as friends. This is the way I see things going, she is just too flaky to be relied on - keeping it casual will bring less grief I think.
She IS a kind-hearted girl, but with too much going on in her life. So I'll have to just wait patiently till it's my turn.
