Title says it all. Allthough having a shopping list full of crierias is a bad thing, having certain red flags is not. My red flags:
Ugliness
I'd take an ordinary looking girl rather than a platina blond bimbo anyday. However, I could never date a girl I wasn't physically attracted to.
Stupidity
A girl who is stupid will pass her lack of intelligence on to further generations. If I can't have a meaningsful conversation with someone, then they're not dating material, in my honest opinion.
Gold digging
Wanting someone to provide you with a car and a house while you don't want to work full-time and get a degree, is prostitution. There are also men who dig for gold (at least in Norway), not just women.
PMS
For obvious reasons...
Lack of personality / acting like a b!tch and so on

Okay...the above (i.e. Felgen's post) and three more things:
Obese:
This is for health reasons, as it has been scientifically proven that back problems, increased rate of cancer, diabetes type 2, and so on is associated with being obese. What if the woman just had a baby? Well, there are exceptions to every rule...lol (get the joke?). Other than that, forget it. That is a turn off for me.
More than 2 kids:
Sorry, I can't handle that many kids, as I am 37, and probably wouldn't make a great father.
This one will piss off many, but here goes...
If she has a dog:
I HATE dogs. I love cats though. But I am strictly not a dog person, and am actually afraid of them (exception: if it's a pug and you're willing to take care of it, I can tolerate those - just keep them away from me) I have been attacked by a few dogs during my childhood. I am deeply sorry if I offend anyone who has a dog; I'm sure that you love them. But keep those things away from me!!

Religious nutjobs (fanatic fundamentalists of any religion)
Gross obesity, ugliness, deformity (I wish I were open minded enough to be able to disregard physical appearance, but I'm not)
Bad character (hatred, lying, bigotry, sluttiness)
Stupidity makes it not likely I would want children with her, but isn't necessarily a disqualifying factor for a relationship. I value good character more than intelligence or appearance.

But atheism as a red flag is not the slightest bit over the top?  There's a difference between PMS (which is a medical disorder that interferes significantly with your daily routine) and regular menstrual cycles. Not wanting to date ugly, unintelligent and uninteresting people of the opposite sex is no more than natural selection. |

Maybe not wanting to date an athiest is over the top, I could date one as long as they did not force it on me or critisis me for my beliefs. It won't work though, spirituality is part of my life. If they can't share it we will be living solo lives.

Dont men usually like their own personal prostitute? But I guess they prefer the self-sufficient kind.
What I do not want:
Liar- things will get nowhere with that, you would even doubt where/how things really are with such a person
Weight is 3x more than me - I dont hate em, im just not attracted to them(you cant blame people for not getting attracted to something)
deformed in a horrific way(circumstancially coz I would find having a horn like a demon to be cute)
children - I HATE children
the rest depends on how they come together
