Those are nice hobbies, kitty; but sadly, this is the wrong place to post that.  This part of the forum is for anyone to complain about someone who is a troll or threatening another or group of people on this site.  Perhaps, the "Random" part of the forum might be a better place?  As for mine, by the way, it's music, math, cartoons, reading, and sometimes paradoxes.  :-)  May I wish the best for you?

I'm afraid I am a bit of a stereo typical aspie when it comes to hobbies. I take things apart and turn them into new things, I build bits of electronics, I write code, I read a lot, pretty much anything I can get my hands on and I play video games.

Really anything that occurs to me. I've built all sorts of things over the years, they usually end up in the attic or being given away and some projects I just loose interest in half way through. I have built a lot of microprocessor based stuff over the years - computers, programmable timers, radios, amplifiers, you name it really. I am just about to make a start on a LED & Halogen based lighting system for my aquarium to accurately simulate daylight in south Africa (where my fish originate). It will be seasonal as will the heater for the tank.

That's really cool zenemu. You sound really gifted. Tell me, have you ever done synthisisers? People actually pay top money for that sorta thing, theres a whole big cottage industry for that sorta thing.

Once you understand basic electronics, building or designing something becomes easy enough. I wouldn't be interested in turning it into a career though, it is strictly a hobby for me. I have built a couple of basic midi based synthesizers and sound generators over the years - the SID chip used in the commodore 64 is excellent for that kind of thing, still an amazing little chip after over thirty years. SID based devices are still regularly used even today in the music industry.

♦ Reading / Writing (I want to be an author Wink)
♦ Imagining (This helps my writing a lot. I'm unusual for an Aspie in that I have an amazingly vivid imagination; I'm guessing it's the combination of Aspergers and Bipolar Disorder, but I don't know for sure)
♦ Composing Piano Music (While I publish novels I'm probably going to be a composer on the side)
♦ Watching cartoons and anime (That counts, right? Cheesy)
♦ Playing golf (the only sport I actually enjoy)
♦ Swimming (I could live in the water)
♦ Boating (Canoeing, kayaking, sailing, rowing, anything without a motor will do)
♦ Creating languages (I use them in my writing)
♦ Learning languages (I'm currently learning German and I plan on majoring in German in college)
♦ Pairing up baby names (This kind of goes along with creating languages.  I'm obsessed with baby names, not expecting just collecting Wink  My favorites are on my listography main page http://listography.com/SakiHeart)
